Terms of service

General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

Last updated: August 2026

1. Scope and Provider

These General Terms and Conditions (“GTC”) apply to all orders placed through the online shop btech-shop.com.

The provider and contractual partner is:

Webkon Inh. Breuss
Seestrasse 205
8806 Bäch SZ
Switzerland

UID: CHE-217.428.235
Email: info@btech-shop.com

These GTC apply to both consumers and businesses, unless expressly stated otherwise below or unless mandatory statutory provisions provide otherwise.

A consumer is a natural person who enters into a contract primarily for purposes that cannot be attributed to their commercial or professional activity.

2. Offer and Conclusion of Contract

The presentation of products in the online shop is intended to provide information about our product range and generally does not yet constitute a legally binding offer to conclude a purchase contract.

By completing the ordering process, the customer submits a binding offer to purchase the products contained in the shopping cart.

An automatically generated order confirmation initially only confirms receipt of the order and does not constitute acceptance of the order unless expressly stated otherwise.

The purchase contract is concluded once we expressly accept the order or dispatch the ordered goods.

We reserve the right to reject orders before a contract is concluded. This may occur in particular in cases of unavailability, obvious pricing or product errors, technical errors in the online shop, reasonable suspicion of misuse or fraud, or where an order cannot be fulfilled for legal or practical reasons.

Any payments already made for an order that is not accepted will be refunded in full.

3. Prices and Currency

The prices displayed on btech-shop.com are based on Swiss francs (CHF).

Depending on the customer’s location and settings, prices may also be displayed in another currency. Such displays are for guidance only. The actual billing is carried out in Swiss francs (CHF).

If payment is made using an account or payment method denominated in another currency, the payment service provider or card issuer may apply its own exchange rates and fees. b-tech has no influence over such exchange rates or fees.

b-tech is currently not subject to Swiss VAT and therefore does not charge Swiss VAT on goods sold through the online shop.

4. International Orders, Taxes, and Import Charges

All goods are shipped from Switzerland.

For deliveries outside Switzerland, the destination country may impose in particular import VAT, customs duties, customs clearance or processing fees charged by the transport service provider, as well as other official or import-related charges.

These costs are not included in the purchase price charged by b-tech and are not collected by b-tech. They must be borne by the recipient.

The recipient is responsible for paying any applicable import charges and for providing any cooperation required for customs and import clearance.

Further details, particularly regarding customs clearance, unpaid import charges, and refused or uncollected shipments, are set out in our Shipping and Import Policy.

5. Payment Terms

The payment methods currently available in the online shop are displayed during the ordering process.

Payments may in particular be processed via Shopify Payments and the payment methods offered through it, such as credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or TWINT, as well as via PayPal.

Additional terms of the respective payment service provider may apply to individual payment methods.

Unless otherwise stated during the ordering process, the full purchase price is due upon completion of the order.

6. Retention of Title

The delivered goods remain the property of b-tech until all claims arising from the relevant order have been paid in full, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Mandatory statutory provisions remain unaffected.

7. Availability, Stock, and Pre-Orders

Products may be offered either as immediately available stock items or as currently out-of-stock items, pre-orders, or backorders.

The availability status stated on the relevant product page or during the ordering process is decisive.

For products that are not in stock, the delivery time may be several weeks. Where available, the expected delivery time at the time of ordering is stated on the product page or during the ordering process.

By ordering a product that is expressly marked as out of stock, available for pre-order, or subject to an extended delivery time, the customer accepts the stated estimated delivery period.

Mandatory statutory rights of the customer in the event of significant delivery delays remain unaffected.

8. Shipping and Delivery

Orders are shipped from Switzerland, generally via Swiss Post and with tracking.

The available shipping methods and any applicable shipping costs are displayed to the customer before the order is completed.

Stated delivery times refer to the period that can normally be expected under ordinary circumstances.

Despite careful planning, delays may occur, in particular due to customs clearance, import inspections, exceptionally high demand, delays by transport service providers, force majeure, or other circumstances outside our direct control.

Where possible, we inform customers of significant delays known to us.

Mandatory statutory rights arising from delayed or failed delivery remain unaffected.

Further details are set out in our Shipping and Import Policy.

9. Cancellation Before Dispatch

As long as an order has not yet been dispatched, the customer may request cancellation by contacting info@btech-shop.com.

Provided that the order has not yet been shipped, we generally accept the cancellation and refund any payments already made using the original payment method.

Once the goods have been dispatched, the customer’s statutory rights as well as our Return and Refund Policy and, where applicable, our voluntary 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee apply.

10. Statutory Right of Withdrawal for Consumers

Depending on the law applicable to the respective contract, consumers may have statutory rights of withdrawal or cancellation.

For consumers whose contracts are subject to mandatory consumer protection provisions of a Member State of the European Union, the corresponding statutory withdrawal rights apply in particular.

Details regarding requirements, deadlines, returns, costs, and refunds are set out in our separate Right of Withdrawal Notice.

The statutory right of withdrawal is separate from our voluntary 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee.

11. Voluntary 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

In addition to any statutory rights of withdrawal, warranty rights, and other consumer rights, b-tech offers a voluntary 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee for physical products sold through btech-shop.com.

This voluntary guarantee allows in particular for proper installation and practical testing of the product in accordance with the applicable guarantee terms.

The requirements and scope of this additional service are governed exclusively by our separate 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee.

The voluntary guarantee does not restrict the customer’s statutory rights in any way.

12. Statutory Rights for Defects and Warranty

The applicable statutory warranty rights and rights relating to defects apply to defects in delivered goods.

Under Swiss law, warranty claims for new movable goods generally become time-barred two years after delivery of the goods. Where mandatory consumer protection provisions of another country apply, any broader or differing mandatory rights remain unaffected.

Beyond the statutory rights relating to defects, b-tech does not provide any additional general manufacturer’s warranty unless expressly stated otherwise for a specific product.

A defect does not arise solely because a product does not function as expected due to an incompatible vehicle, incorrect installation, improper use, or a modification made by the customer, provided that the cause is not attributable to the product itself.

Statutory claims relating to genuinely defective goods remain unaffected.

13. Installation and Intended Use

Some products offered by b-tech are intended for installation in vehicles.

Unless otherwise stated in the relevant product description or installation instructions, the products may be installed by persons who have the necessary practical and technical skills.

In particular, where there is uncertainty, we recommend professional installation by a suitably qualified specialist or workshop.

The customer is required to follow the provided installation, safety, and usage instructions and to verify the compatibility of the product with the intended vehicle before installation.

For damage demonstrably caused exclusively by incorrect or improper installation, use contrary to the intended purpose, unauthorised modification of the product, or failure to follow the provided installation or safety instructions, b-tech is liable only to the extent required by mandatory law.

14. Product Compatibility

Where products are compatible only with certain vehicles, model years, model codes, equipment variants, or software versions, the information stated on the relevant product page or in a compatibility tool provided by b-tech applies.

The customer is required to check compatibility before placing an order based on the information provided.

If there is any uncertainty regarding compatibility, the customer may contact b-tech before ordering at info@btech-shop.com.

Incorrect compatibility information provided by b-tech or mandatory statutory rights of the customer remain unaffected.

15. Digital Functions and Third-Party Providers

Certain b-tech products may be used with an app or optional digital functions.

Digital functions or in-app purchases offered and purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play are not sold through btech-shop.com. The terms of the respective platform additionally apply to their purchase and payment processing.

Where digital functions are required for the basic contractual use of a physical product purchased through btech-shop.com, mandatory statutory rights relating to the functionality of the product remain unaffected.

16. Liability

b-tech is liable in accordance with the mandatory statutory provisions applicable in each case.

To the extent permitted by law, b-tech is not liable for damage caused exclusively by improper installation, use contrary to the intended purpose, unauthorised modifications to the product, failure to follow the instructions provided, or use with incompatible vehicles or components.

Likewise, to the extent permitted by law, we do not accept liability for indirect or consequential damages that fall outside the typically foreseeable course of damage.

These limitations of liability do not apply where liability is mandatory under applicable law, in particular where liability may not legally be excluded or restricted.

17. Returns and Refunds

Different rules apply to returns depending on the reason for the return.

A distinction must in particular be made between:

  • a statutory right of withdrawal,
  • our voluntary 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee, and
  • statutory claims relating to defective or incorrectly delivered goods.

Details regarding the procedure for returns and refunds are set out in our Return and Refund Policy.

Unless b-tech provides a different address for a specific return, the return address is:

Webkon Inh. Breuss
Seestrasse 205
8806 Bäch SZ
Switzerland

18. Refused and Uncollected Shipments

For international deliveries, the recipient is responsible for completing the necessary import formalities and paying the import charges imposed by the competent authorities or transport service providers.

If a shipment is returned to b-tech, in particular due to failure to collect it, refusal of delivery, an incorrect or incomplete delivery address provided by the customer, unpaid import charges, or incomplete import formalities, the provisions of our Shipping and Import Policy apply.

A mere refusal to accept or collect a shipment does not automatically constitute the exercise of a statutory right of withdrawal where applicable law requires a clear declaration of withdrawal.

Mandatory statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

19. Data Protection

Information about the processing of personal data in connection with btech-shop.com, orders, and the AAC Control App is provided in our separate Privacy Policy.

20. Changes to These GTC

The version of these GTC in force at the time the contract is concluded generally applies to an order.

We may amend these GTC for future orders, in particular due to legal, technical, or business changes.

Subsequent amendments to these GTC do not alter contracts that have already been concluded unless expressly agreed with the customer or unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

21. Applicable Law

Contracts with b-tech are generally governed by Swiss law, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).

For consumers, this choice of law applies only to the extent that it does not deprive them of mandatory protective provisions under the law that would apply in the absence of this choice of law.

In particular, mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which a consumer has their habitual residence remain unaffected where such provisions apply to the contract under the applicable conflict-of-law rules.

22. Jurisdiction

For disputes with businesses, to the extent permitted by law, the registered office of Webkon Inh. Breuss in Bäch SZ, Switzerland, is the exclusive place of jurisdiction.

For consumers, the mandatory statutory rules on jurisdiction apply. Nothing in these GTC is intended to prevent consumers from bringing proceedings before a court that has jurisdiction under mandatory applicable law.

23. Severability

If any provision of these GTC is wholly or partially invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain unaffected.

The applicable statutory provisions shall apply in place of the invalid or unenforceable provision.

Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected in all cases.
