Return and Refund Policy

We want to make returns as simple and transparent as possible.

Depending on the reason for the return, different rights and conditions may apply. In particular, we distinguish between:

• statutory withdrawal rights,
• our voluntary 30-day money-back guarantee, and
• statutory rights relating to defective, damaged, or incorrectly supplied goods.

These rights exist independently of one another.

1. Registering a Return

Where possible, please include your order number and the reason for the return.

If you wish to exercise a statutory right of withdrawal, you may also use the online withdrawal function available on btech-shop.com. Once successfully submitted, you will receive an automatic confirmation that your withdrawal notice has been received.

Prior contact with us is not an additional requirement for exercising mandatory statutory rights where applicable law provides otherwise.

2. Statutory Right of Withdrawal

Depending on the applicable law, consumers may have statutory rights of withdrawal.

For a statutory withdrawal, the applicable deadlines, return conditions, refund rules, and provisions concerning any potential loss in value are governed in particular by our separate Withdrawal Policy.

The additional voluntary benefits provided under our 30-day money-back guarantee do not automatically apply to a return based exclusively on a statutory right of withdrawal.

In particular, responsibility for return shipping costs and the payments to be refunded are governed by our Withdrawal Policy and the applicable mandatory law.

3. Voluntary 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

For all physical products purchased through btech-shop.com, b-tech additionally offers a voluntary 30-day money-back guarantee.

This guarantee expressly allows proper installation, configuration, and genuine real-world testing of the product during the guarantee period.

Normal signs of use that are unavoidable during careful installation, removal, and testing are permitted.

Under this voluntary guarantee, b-tech covers the cost of return shipping when the return method provided or expressly approved by us is used.

For international orders, b-tech also reimburses, under this voluntary guarantee, the import costs actually paid and supported by evidence in relation to the returned goods, in particular import VAT, customs duties, and customs clearance fees directly associated with the import, provided these costs have not already been reimbursed elsewhere.

4. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrectly Supplied Goods

If a product is defective or damaged upon receipt, an incorrect product has been supplied, or a possible product defect arises, please contact us at info@btech-shop.com.

Please describe the issue as accurately as possible. Photos, videos, or other information may help us assess the case more quickly.

Please do not return a potentially defective or incorrectly supplied product internationally at your own expense without prior agreement with us.

We will review the case and inform you of the next steps.

Statutory warranty rights and rights relating to defects remain fully unaffected. They are not restricted by either our voluntary 30-day money-back guarantee or this policy.

5. Condition of Returned Goods

The required condition of returned goods depends on the reason for the return.

In the case of a statutory withdrawal, the provisions of our Withdrawal Policy regarding inspection of the goods and any potential loss in value apply.

For a return under our 30-day money-back guarantee, proper installation, genuine real-world testing, and normal signs of use that are unavoidable during careful use are expressly permitted.

Avoidable damage, tampering, or missing components may result in an appropriate reduction of the refund under the voluntary guarantee corresponding to the actual loss in value. In cases of significant damage caused by the customer, the voluntary guarantee may be excluded in accordance with its terms.

Statutory rights remain unaffected.

6. Completeness

Where possible, please return all components belonging to the product together with all supplied accessories.

The original packaging should also be used where possible. However, missing original packaging does not automatically exclude either a statutory right of withdrawal or our voluntary 30-day money-back guarantee.

The product must be adequately protected and securely packaged for return transport.

8. Return Shipping Costs

Statutory Withdrawal

In the event of a statutory withdrawal, the customer bears the direct cost of returning the goods where this is permitted under applicable law and the customer has been properly informed accordingly.

30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

Under our voluntary 30-day money-back guarantee, b-tech covers the return shipping costs.

For this purpose, we will provide a return shipping label or arrange or approve another return method.

Shipping costs arranged independently or any additional shipping costs will only be reimbursed if this has been expressly agreed with b-tech in advance.

Defective or Incorrectly Supplied Goods

For valid claims relating to defective or incorrectly supplied goods, responsibility for costs is governed by the applicable statutory provisions. Where possible, we will arrange the return directly with the customer.

9. Inspection of Returned Goods

Once a return has been received, we inspect the goods with regard to:

• the identity of the returned product,
• completeness,
• condition,
• any damage present, and
• the applicable return right or guarantee being used.

Normal signs of use that are permitted under the terms of our voluntary 30-day money-back guarantee will not result in a reduction of the refund.

In the case of avoidable damage or missing components, we may, under the voluntary guarantee, make an appropriate reduction corresponding to the actual loss in value or the actual reasonable costs required to restore the product.

No flat-rate handling, penalty, or restocking fees are charged for this purpose.

10. Refunds

Refunds are generally made using the same payment method used for the original order, unless otherwise agreed.

Statutory Withdrawal

The scope and timing of the refund are governed by our Withdrawal Policy and the applicable mandatory law.

30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

Once the returned goods have been received and inspected, and provided that the guarantee conditions are met, we will refund the purchase price paid to b-tech for the returned product.

In addition, b-tech covers the return shipping costs and documented import costs that are reimbursable under the terms of the guarantee.

Defective or Incorrectly Supplied Goods

Such cases are handled in accordance with the applicable statutory warranty rights and rights relating to defects.

11. Reimbursement of Import VAT, Customs Duties, and Import Costs

This section applies to our voluntary 30-day money-back guarantee.

If you paid import VAT, customs duties, customs clearance or handling fees, or other charges directly associated with importing your order, b-tech will reimburse these costs under the voluntary guarantee, provided that they were actually incurred and can be supported by appropriate evidence.

Please provide suitable proof of payment or charges showing the amount and its connection to the relevant order.

Double reimbursement is excluded.

If the same costs have already been reimbursed by an authority, carrier, or other third party, no additional reimbursement claim exists against b-tech for those amounts.

If import costs already reimbursed by b-tech are subsequently reimbursed again by a third party, the corresponding amount received twice must be repaid to b-tech.

12. Refused or Uncollected Shipments

Simply refusing delivery or failing to collect a shipment does not automatically constitute the exercise of a statutory right of withdrawal.

If you wish to withdraw from your order, please therefore notify us expressly using our online withdrawal function, by email, or by another legally permitted method.

If a shipment is automatically returned to b-tech due to refusal of delivery, failure to collect it, an incorrect or incomplete delivery address provided by the customer, unpaid import charges, or incomplete import formalities, the provisions of our Shipping and Import Policy additionally apply.

Mandatory statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

13. Relationship Between the Different Return Rights

Our voluntary 30-day money-back guarantee expands the customer’s options but does not replace any statutory rights.

In particular:

Statutory withdrawal: governed by the Withdrawal Policy and applicable mandatory consumer law.

30-day money-back guarantee: an additional voluntary benefit provided by b-tech that includes extended real-world testing, free return shipping, and reimbursement of documented import costs in accordance with the guarantee terms.

Defect or incorrect delivery: governed by the applicable statutory warranty rights and rights relating to defects.

The customer does not lose any mandatory statutory rights merely because a voluntary guarantee is also provided.
