Product Description

⚠️ Important Notice: Shipping is temporarily on hold while an issue is being reviewed to ensure everything works perfectly. Orders can still be placed and will be shipped as soon as testing is complete.

Adaptive Assistance Control is a precision CAN-bus module designed to allow the targeted deactivation of selected driver assistance systems without altering any OEM software. Activation is performed via the vehicle’s factory CANCEL button on the steering wheel. A one-second press disables Lane Keep Assist (LDA), Pre-Collision System (PCS), and Intelligent Speed Assist (ISA) depending on configuration.

For enhanced convenience, the AutoPreset™ version automatically restores the user’s preferred configuration after each ignition cycle. Once enabled, the module memorizes the last-used states and re-applies them automatically within seconds of startup. The AutoPreset™ version may not comply with current EU type-approval regulations, as it automatically modifies the activation state of mandatory driver assistance systems after vehicle start. Use of this feature is therefore intended for off-road, track, or export vehicles only.

Optionally, the module can also deactivate the Driver Monitoring System (DMS) when AAC is active, providing a distraction-free driving experience while retaining full compatibility with all vehicle safety networks.

The periodic Pause Reminder function is disabled by default.

The AAC is installed behind the instrument cluster using OEM-style connectors.
It communicates exclusively over the vehicle’s CAN network, without intercepting or modifying firmware or calibration data.
No soldering, cutting, or coding is required.

The system is fully reversible and can be removed at any time, leaving no trace. All factory functions remain unaffected, including cruise control, radar systems, and communication with other ECUs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to switch off the systems every time, or does the module remember my settings?
With the standard module, one press of Cancel is enough to turn the assistance systems off. The AutoPreset™ version restores your settings automatically at startup, though it isn’t EU-conform!
Which Toyota models are currently supported and which ones will be added next?
Check the supported Toyota models through the vehicle selection buttons on our site. If your model isn’t there yet, we’re already working on it - just leave your email to get notified once it’s available.
Can I install the AAC-Module myself, or should it be done by a workshop?
For most models, installation is straightforward with a bit of basic experience. Our detailed, beginner-friendly guides walk you through every step. For premium models like the Land Cruiser, we recommend having the installation carried out by a professional workshop.
Can I leave the AAC module installed during a recall or software update?
Our internal tests indicate no problems. That said, we haven’t run a live update yet, so it hasn’t been proven in practice. Proceed at your own risk.
Will installing the AAC module affect my vehicle warranty?
Your warranty remains intact. Problems unrelated to the module are covered as usual. Only if the module itself caused damage would it be excluded - an unlikely scenario.
What happens if I sell my car?
The module can easily be removed and installed in another supported vehicle. Many buyers also see it as a value add when selling the car, since it makes the driving experience more refined.
What if I change my mind?
You’re free to decide. The AAC module is easy to remove, leaves no trace, and comes with a 30-day satisfaction guarantee.
