Product Description
Adaptive Assistance Control is a precision CAN-bus module designed to allow the targeted deactivation of selected driver assistance systems without altering any OEM software. Activation is performed via the vehicle’s factory CANCEL button on the steering wheel. A one-second press disables Lane Keep Assist (LDA), Pre-Collision System (PCS), and Intelligent Speed Assist (ISA) depending on configuration.
For enhanced convenience, the AutoPreset™ version automatically restores the user’s preferred configuration after each ignition cycle. Once enabled, the module memorizes the last-used states and re-applies them automatically within seconds of startup. The AutoPreset™ version may not comply with current EU type-approval regulations, as it automatically modifies the activation state of mandatory driver assistance systems after vehicle start. Use of this feature is therefore intended for off-road, track, or export vehicles only.
Systems like Pause Reminder and Emergency Brake Signal (EBS), which activates the hazard lights during sudden deceleration, can be disabled upon request and additional custom functions can also be requested
GR Yaris specific bonus:
Thanks to its manual handbrake, the GR Yaris benefits from an exclusive bonus feature. The warning message and beeping sound when driving with the handbrake engaged are automatically delayed by 5 seconds. Ideal for controlled drifts and spirited driving, which the GR Yaris was built for.
Multipress Function:
For vehicles where the CANCEL button is already in use (for example by a MapSwitch) we offer the Multipress activation. In this configuration, the module is activated through a sequence of three quick button presses instead of a single long press. This allows full functionality of both systems on the same control without interference.
The AAC is installed behind the instrument cluster using OEM-style connectors.
It communicates exclusively over the vehicle’s CAN network, without intercepting or modifying firmware or calibration data.
No soldering, cutting, or coding is required.
The system is fully reversible and can be removed at any time, leaving no trace. All factory functions remain unaffected, including cruise control, radar systems, and communication with other ECUs.
